ONAC Accreditation
Accreditation is a strategic tool contributing to economic development through the support it provides to the results or certificates issued by laboratories, certifiers, or accredited inspectors for companies or industries of multiple economic sectors, thus providing a seal of confidence regarding the safety and quality of goods or services.
In Colombia, ONAC was designated as the sole national accreditor by the Single Regulatory Decree of the Commerce, Industry, and Tourism Sector.
ONAC Recognition in GLP OECD
The GLP Recognition Service under the OECD principles is aimed at testing entities that perform non-clinical safety studies for regulatory purposes, who wish to apply to be incorporated into the GLP Entity Registry of the National Good Laboratory Practice Monitoring Program.
ONAC acts as the National Authority for Monitoring Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), following the Single Regulatory Decree of the Commerce, Industry, and Tourism Sector.

ONAC International Recognition Agreements

These are headed by cooperation agreements and accreditation forums, helping to eliminate unnecessary barriers to trade and facilitating commercial transactions at a local and global level.
