In the accreditation scheme of metrological verification agencies, we evaluate the competence of the company, which has been designated by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce. Services are offered nationwide for the metrological verification activities of instruments defined by the regulatory body. They seek to reduce or eliminate the misleading effect of the measurements generated by these instruments on consumers and users in general, while ensuring the quality of the measurements.
To grant accreditation under this scheme, ONAC uses the evaluation criteria established in CEA-3.0-14 and CEA-3.0-15. Their objective is to ensure that these types of organizations have demonstrated technical competence through their personnel, equipment, methods and procedures, in line with its management system and the impartiality and independence that the organization wishes to demonstrate, and within the framework of the technical regulations defined by the regulatory body.
In the scheme of accreditation of metrological verification bodies, we evaluate the competence of the companies that have been designated by the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce for the metrological verification activities of:
– Liquid fuel dispensers, dispensers and/or meters, used to determine the quantity (volume) of hydrocarbons dispensed and marketed at Public Vehicular and Fluvial Service Stations (EDS).
-Non-automatic weighing instruments (scales) that are used in commercial transactions and are in the service of large supermarkets, chain supermarkets, and self-service stores that have two (2) or more of these instruments.
– Truck scales that are used in weight control activities on highways, roads, and ports and whose operation site will be in the whole national territory
